Ours is a multi-generation funeral family. J. William Snowdon began our tradition of serving Wyoming Valley families with dedication in 1908.

Family Tradition Since 1908

"In 1936, his son, Harold C. Snowdon, established his first funeral home on North Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre. In 1955, our Kingston Branch was opened on Wyoming Avenue and still serves the many communities of the Wyoming Valley. In 1965, the Shavertown Branch was dedicated. This facility is conveniently located in the heart of the Back Mountain Area and serves families residing in every surrounding borough and township.

Richard W. Snowdon and Brent W. Snowdon represent the third and fourth generation of the Snowdon family serving residents in every community of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

The family’s long tradition of service to Northeastern Pennsylvania continues today. Ours is a family business with a heritage of close personal service. We try very hard to maintain this closeness and the personal service your families deserve."
